December was a busy and fun month with Christmas and all the holiday parties. Christmas was a blast this year and Camdyn really participated and enjoyed everything! We had a chance to go see the Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Gardens with the luminaries, which was very festive and fun. Camdyn loved the carolers singing all the Christmas songs. We did go and see Santa and yes Camdyn did cry again. Although after she was off his lap she did give him a high five, so we are making some progress. We spent Christmas Eve at the Hollenbach's, Christmas morning at our house and Christmas Day dinner at the Anderson's. So we had a very full day and a half and lots of good eating and family time. Santa brought Camdyn a little Radio Flyer bike and the Little People Barn. Grandy Sandi and Grandpa Sparky got her a play kitchen which was a hit! Of course everyone else also spoiled her rotten and she had a fun time ripping open all of her gifts. She is really increasing her vocabulary every day and copies pretty much everything you say...so we have to be very careful! She loves to "cook" in her kitchen and go for bike rides in the neighborhood. And she is still crazy about slides and going to the park any chance she gets. We drive by the park everyday on our way home and she says "Park! Slide! Out!" every time we drive by. She loves to read and be read to, and she even tries to read books to her stuffed animals.

We were lucky enough to secure babysitters for New Year's Eve and spent the night celebrating with some good friends with our annual fondue party, hosted by the Weston's - which is walking distance from us! Camdyn had an early celebration with Grandy and Papa (babysitters, of course)
With the Weston's and the Grogan's- Happy 2014!!
