November Highlights

Well this year is flying by! We have had a pretty busy and fun November. The start of the month we attending the Polo Party right here in Scottsdale with my parents and some of their friends. Camdyn loved to see the horses and even got her own plastic polo set to practice at home. And no, we did not let her ride on Liza to play....

We did let her ride a real horse again though. Camdyn and Shawn went riding on Tivio at his parents house again. Camdyn loves to ride the horsey and is not scared one bit. This time my mom came for the day too and she and Shawn went for a ride and I stayed home with Camdyn. I like it better on the sidelines and to be the one taking the pics.

We spent Thanksgiving this year in Casa Grande with Shawn's family. Of course eating all day and with a delicious meal! My favorite is the pumpkin pie! Tom and Julene made a "turkey" appetizer that was adorable.

 

 

The end of the month was the UofA vs. ASU football game here in Tempe. We had quite a group for tailgating and it was fun even though the Sundevils won.

She now does "yoga". This is the only pose she can do so far. But she gets into downward dog when I say "lets do yoga!"

Camdyn is really talking a lot more these days. She is really getting better at telling us what she wants, which can be quite demanding sometimes. She tells us where to sit and what she wants to eat- usually saying cottage cheese, meatballs or crackers and running over to the fridge or pantry. She wants a bite of whatever we are eating and yells "bite, bite!" until we give her one. She tells us when she is hungry now and is getting quite a vocabulary. She has begun to recognize letters. She loves big trucks too! She still never sits still. We are still doing swim lessons once a week and have been working on back floating and now she loves to lie on her back in the bathtub. She loves to go to the park and go down the bigger kid twisty slides, she pushes older kids out of her way to go down the slide. We got to go for a ride on a Scottsdale fire truck and she loved it! She gets very excited for big trucks like the garbage truck or the UPS truck!
