Camdyn is 18 months old!

So hard to believe Camdyn is now 18 months old! She is like a little person with a funny personality and great determination. She is persistent and when she wants something, she goes for it and doesn't stop until she gets her way. Well, usually she does get her way, but we have now been experiencing the toddler tantrum when she doesn't get her way. She is still non-stop and doesn't sit and play. She is always on the run!! She loves to climb on anything, tease and play with Liza and giggle and laugh all the time.  She loves to go for walks in the neighborhood after dinner. She has also been learning more and more words and copies most anything we say. So yes, we are very careful what we say! We have started to spell things these days too! She did learn what i-p-a-d spells already. At her 18 month check up she only measured in at 18 lbs 7 oz and is still in the 0% for weight. She is getting taller at 32 in. and is healthy as could be! She has 4 of her molars in and is just getting the canines on the top coming in now. She isn't too bad with her teething, popsicles are the best medicine! We took a long weekend trip over Columbus Day to Laguna and had a fun, relaxing trip with Liza too! Camdyn loved to chase the seagulls at the beach, play in the sand, and smell all the pretty California flowers.

Busted! Caught on the bed...

Grandy didn't know her décor was a playground

We went to MacDonald's Ranch for a pumpkin patch with my mom, Ramsey and her family who were in town anxiously awaiting the birth of their son. We had a blast with all the fun activities- petting zoo, hay maze, hay rides, lots of pumpkins and fun games. Camdyn loved the animals and wasn't quite sure what to think of all the kids running around picking out pumpkins.

October 26th was Nite Flite- the annual gala for the 20-30 Club of Scottsdale at the Talking Stick Resort and Casino. Luckily this year Shawn didn't have to work much at the event and we had a fun night out! It is nice to get dressed up every once in a while!

Halloween this year was a bit chaotic. Camdyn was a little overwhelmed by all the excitement and all the people we had over for trick or treating. We had the Grogan's, the Weston's, the Morris', the Hannon's and my mom all over for dinner and then to go out in our neighborhood. Camdyn was dressed up as a U of A cheerleader. We even taught her how to say "Ra Ra Ra!" She did have quite the meltdown and we actually didn't even make it trick or treating. I think she was teething a bit and then didn't really eat much and was tired and then she wanted another girl's bracelet and that is what sent her over the edge. We ended up being much happier staying home and playing instead of going door to door. Here are some pics from the night. You can see how Camdyn was not a happy camper.

Lily was upset that she couldn't stay on the slide and Colbie is trying to cheer up Camdyn.

Grandy carved a UofA pumkin to match!

Much happier by the end of the night playing on her slide!
